Your glasses bespoke
For 145 years, Meyrowitz opticians have designed and produced. your glasses bespoke from a drawing or model of your choice. Your pair of glasses is cut and shaped by hand by our French and European artisans.
Our priority is to manufacture your pair of glasses bespoke that will dress your face and will meet your visual needs.
Different materials are available to you for making your custom glasses, such as acetate, the Horn, real tortoiseshell, 18 carat gold.
The cost varies depending on the material chosen. From €790 for an acetate frame, €1480 for a horn frame.

The different steps
Meeting with the optician
During the first appointment, we determine together your desires and your visual needs which determine both the type of corrective lenses and the shape of the frame for optimal aesthetic results.
Choice of the lenses
We guide you towards the most suitable glass, that is to say:
→ the type, depending on the correction and your visual needs
→ the treatments (blue light filter, solar tint, anti-reflective, contrast enhancer)
→ le style, light, tinted, gradient, TransitionsTM (colors in the sun)
Choice of mount
From an existing shape, or a drawing, you express your desires, and we guide you to determine the ideal frame together.
Taking measurements
We note your pupil distances, measure the width of your face, determine the length of the temples and the seat on the nose.
Realization of the prototype
We are making a prototype in black plastic to better appreciate the volume and seat of the nose.
On D+15, we invite you to come and try the prototype.
Shade validation
You choose the shade from a color chart. Supported by a fitting of existing frames. Here the imitation tortoiseshell shades.
Choice of finishes
You choose the type of hinge, the shape of the branches, as well as a decoration with or without rivets.
Homemade
Your future frame is cut by numerical control, then finished by hand.
Engravings and personalization
If you wish, we can personalize your glasses with your name, first name, initials, telephone number or other inscription of your choice. This option is available to you.
Final fitting and fitting
When your frame is finished, we set up an appointment together for a final fitting and adjustment before ordering the corrective lenses chosen during your first visit.
